Stretch & Bobbito 1991 (w/Percee P & DMX)

This one is a request from Irish Craig. This was one from Stretch's short-lived blog konstant kontact. It's one of the earliest available Stretch Armstrong shows from 1991, featuring Percee P, and a then unknown DMX. As you can hear he claims 'the original author of spellbound.'

Masta Ace & Lord Digga - Maintain

This is an unreleased track from the 'Sittin' on Chrome' LP. It came out as a B-side on the test pressing of the Sittin' on Chrome 12". Pretty sure it's Digga production as well.

R.I.P. P-Original

This is a really sad way to start this New Year. I just learned that we lost one of Jersey's finest producers, P-Original. I'm still not sure exactly what happened. This is messing me up because he and I were really good friends for a while, but recently had a falling out over some stupid shit. I really wish I could turn back the clock and dead all that, because it's going to stay with me. He was a really good dude. He was one of the few people in my area that shared the passion I had for digging, producing, and music in general. He was really encouraging, and taught me a lot about making beats, and the industry.

I'm sure people will remember 'Keep it Live' and the stuff he did with El Da Sensai, but he has a ton of other stuff out there, and a lot of stuff that was never released. I encourage anyone who has enjoyed his work, or fans of this blog, to help with whatever you can to support his family through this tough time. There is a go-fund-me page here where you can donate. You can also check his YouTube page to hear some of his stuff you might not have caught. R.I.P. Pete, you will be missed.
