Keith Nut Demo

Keith Nut was wild. He was sort of a fringe member of the Terror Squad. He made freestyle appearances on Stretch & Bobbito's show both in 1994 and 1995 (with Big Pun's first appearance), and also showed up on Fat Joe's 'Jealous One's Envy' and one track on the Terror Squad LP in 1999. There's no information available as to why he wasn't more involved in the Terror Squad or what he did afterwards.

The early-mid 90's had MC's like Geto Boys, N.W.A., Nas, Big L, Akinyele, and a bunch of others coming with the 'shock value' type rhymes. Keith Nut fit right in with that, with the perverted, child molester steez. For the most part, I think his objective there was to say the craziest shit... so sick it made you laugh, or just threw you off. Stuff like this, that is so not PC, would never come out.

Bobbito played a Keith Nut demo in 1995, and I thought it was pretty dope, funny. Just to show you he's not all about child molesting, he mentions that he might bang your grandmother. I'm curious what other kinds of solo joints Keith Nut had back in those days, if he had an album's worth of material, etc. I'm sure labels were afraid to touch him, but man, that would have been a wild album.

Heavy Jewelz

Definitely want to give a big shout to Verge and his friend Pat for doing good things with their Heavy Jewelz label. They've been giving some new life to old demos, with great sound quality and design work for the covers. Most of these tracks were at one time played on Stretch and Bobbito, so for heads like myself, it's cool to be able to finally be able to own/spin them. Check them out here.

Stretch & Bobbito 1996 w/Saukrates

Stretch & Bobbito early on during their Hot 97 run. This one's got a guest appearance from Saukrates, and an exclusive Boogie and the Barber promo from Otherized FAM.

Levi 167

I caught this 12" at a local record shop for cheap, and when I brought it home I saw Levi 167 signed it. There's only a few records left on this label that I need for my collection. You may notice the 'd-dope, dope' sample from KRS-One Attacks..

Ken Sport

I had a few requests to re-upload some Ken Sport tapes. Ken Sport used to do some really good break/sample mixtapes that were primarily found in Bobbito's Footwork back in the day. I dug up Original #16, that was once featured on Masscorporation, as well as Ken Sport's appearance on 89.9 from 1998.
